The History of Cropland Insurance
Cropland Insurance celebrated it's Grand Opening on July 15th, 2005.
Brick has been in the insurance business since 1982. He started with Farm Bureau and in December 2004 he and Ron decided to open a office by themselves. With Brick's 25 years of insurance experience, he is well informed in all lines of insurance. Brick is a real people person and his clients' well-being is at the top of his list. His wife Sandy joined the office in November 2006. They have 2 grown children and enjoy working together and playing golf.
Ron Bonham is a native of Anthony, and has been farming in the area since 1973. Ron taught math at Wellington High for several years before pursuing a fulltime farm operation. He and his wife, Diana has four children, ten grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. Diana is a pharmacist at Dillon’s in Wellington.
In 1989, Ron entered the world of crop insurance, and has been there to watch the program grow. Since he is a farmer himself, Ron can truly understand both sides of crop insurance.
Francis Drouhard has been a Crop Insurance Agent since 1990 and has worked closely with Brick and Ron since that time. He and his wife, Lori have two daughters and live on a farm east of Danville. The have a cow heard and raise wheat, alfalfa, and other hay crops. Lori is a teacher at Harper Jr. High School and both daughters attend school at Argonia. Francis believes a good crop insurance program should be a part of every successful farming operation. It gives increased flexibility when making short and long range plans.
